FreeBSD is an operation system with its own ecosystem. It does not need a special customizable installer to install a minimal system. This section deals with some information of installer.
The FreeBSD installer currently based on the mfsBSD live image and the tool bsdinstall(8).
The installation process is started by the script rc.local. It fetches the answer file and start the unattended installation via the script unattended.sh.
